The U.S. Senate is set to vote on confirmation of Gov. Terry Branstad as the new U.S. Ambassador to China.

The U.S. Senate is set to vote on confirmation of Gov. Terry Branstad as the new U.S. Ambassador to China.
Sen. Charles Grassley said Thursday that the Senate is scheduled to vote Monday at 5:30 p.m.
Branstad is expected to be confirmed as U.S. ambassador to China and resigns as governor.
