According to a study by North Dakota State University’s Department of Agribusiness and Applied Economics, wind energy had an economic impact of more than 170-million dollars in 2016. Deepwater Wind plans Massachusetts port as base for 144MW project

Deepwater Wind will use New Bedford in Massachusetts as a hub for its 144MW Revolution offshore wind farm, if the project is given the go-ahead by state regulators.
