Governors' Wind Energy Coalition

May 18, 2015

Colleagues—

Just a quick reminder to RSVP to Tracey (bkohler@gmail.com) for our meeting next month on Friday, June 19 at the Bipartisan Policy Center in Washington, D.C. Here’s the latest agenda.

Dan Utech, President Obama’s Deputy Assistant for Energy and Climate, and Jose Zayas, director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Wind Office, are confirmed and will talk about the Quadrennial Energy Review and the Wind Vision report. Jeff Chen will talk about Tesla’s new storage technology, and Jonathan Weisgall from Berkshire Hathaway Energy will describe the scope and reach of one the nation’s leading renewable energy utilities. The Senate’s Energy and & Natural Resources Committee staff will discuss the status of proposed energy legislation.

And many state representatives will talk about wind development in their states. (If you plan to use any media for your state representation in the afternoon, please share with Tracey before the meeting.)

More additions to the agenda will follow in the next week or two. We’ll keep you posted.

We look forward to seeing next month.

Larry & David
