Attached is the latest agenda for next month’s meeting on Friday, June 19, 2015, at the Bipartisan Policy Center, 1225 Eye Street, NW, Suite 1000, Washington, D.C.

We are very pleased with the planned attendance, and expect 15 governor representatives from 10 states to attend, along with many representatives from energy firms and trade associations. And we are looking forward to your brief state updates in the afternoon. If you haven’t done so already, please RSVP Tracey Kohler (tbkohler@gmail.com) at your earliest convenience.

The agenda is coming along nicely. Here’re a few highlights.

Dan Utech, President Obama’s Assistant for Energy and Climate Change, will talk about the nation’s first Quadrennial Energy Review (QER).
James Chen from Tesla Motors will talk about that company’s break through energy storage system – Power Wall – and its implications for the nation’s energy future (See the following link for more information: http://www.teslamotors.com/powerwall.)
Representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy will discuss the Wind Vision The coalition’s Ed DeMeo and AWEA’s Rob Gramlich will talk about the report’s policy implications.
Staff from the S. Senate’s Energy and Natural Resources Committee will also address the legislative opportunities created by the QER and the Wind Vision report.
