Attached is a draft of the Coalition’s PTC letter for your review. The letter is addressed to Congressional leadership and members of key jurisdictional committees.

The letter emphasizes the harmful impact that Congress’s last minute extension of the PTC had on Americans who work in the wind industry. The letter urges Congress to pass a multi-year extension of the PTC in a timely manner.

Because of the extraordinary importance of this message, all governors are invited to join the chair and vice chair in signing the letter. The deadline for comments is this Friday, September 6. Also, please let me know if your governor will sign the letter.
