Actor Alec Baldwin and former Vice President Al Gore will headline a star-studded roster at the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco next month.

The first wave of speakers and delegates, announced yesterday, features other big names, from former Secretary of State John Kerry to famed primatologist Jane Goodall.

Also on the program are Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo and former Navy Secretary Ray Mabus.

“We are delighted to begin the long but exciting process of announcing delegates from East and West, North and South,” Nick Nuttall, communications director for the Global Climate Action Summit, said in a statement.

The conference, scheduled to take place Sept. 12-14, aims to strengthen worldwide commitment to the 2015 Paris climate agreement.

The event is led by a group of co-chairs, including California Gov. Jerry Brown (D); Patricia Espinosa, executive secretary of the U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change; Xie Zhenhua, China’s special representative for climate change affairs; and Michael Bloomberg, U.N. special envoy for climate action and former mayor of New York.

A program for the summit features events highlighting climate advances since the Paris accord, as well as sessions focused on future and emerging emissions challenges.
